The coupling for pressure hose pressing is used for pressing the hydraulic fitting on the hose. During the pressing stage, the coupling is deformed along the entire radius, the teeth of the coupling, located on the inner part of the coupling, cut into the hydraulic hose. VFD crimps, as they are often called seriously affect the quality of VFD.
Crimp sleeves for high-pressure hoses can be divided into two types.
The stripping of the inner and/or outer layers of rubber is necessary for the coupling or fitting to mate with the metal cord of the hose to give the coupling additional operational reliability. This method is mainly used on hoses of coiled construction, although in our assortment you can find hose couplings for braided hoses with stripping of the outer layer. Is it possible to do without stripping the layers of the hose? Yes, we recommend the Series CS coupling.
We offer different types of crimp sleeves for use with specific hydraulic hoses.
In the Standard class, we present hose couplings manufactured by Cast in its factory in Italy. Cast is a leading European manufacturer of medium price segment fittings for hoses. The range of Cast brand includes various types of fittings, the company also specializes in the manufacture of pipe couplings and is a leader in this area.
We offer VFD crimps in three classes, in different types and diameters. You should contact us for advice on the use of our couplings, even though the process of crimping hoses with our couplings is very simple.
Depending on the class, the price of a hose coupling can vary by up to 20 percent. The price/performance ratio of Cast's hose couplings is optimal.
