Interlock fittings are designed for use with high-pressure hoses with four and six coils (coiled hoses). These fittings are used where machinery is operating under severe operating conditions, with high vibration loads, with impulse pressure.
If you use Interlock fittings and couplings for pressure testing, be sure to follow the pressure testing procedure. Before installing Interloсk fittings and couplings, remove the outer and inner layers of rubber from the hose. The removal of the rubber layers increases the adhesion of the outer and inner layers of the hose to the surface of the fitting and coupling. During the compression process, the teeth of the coupling and fitting fit snugly against the metal coil, forming a strong connection.
