Hydraulic piping used on imported machinery is assembled using pipe couplings – this is a worldwide, established practice. Pipeline is easy to install, no welding is required, it is easy to replace any of the units in the hydraulic chain, hydraulic line without welding looks more presentable. In Russia we still meet companies that use welding. If you are planning to abandon this method, you need a machine for reaming hydraulic pipes or mounting a mortise ring.
Pipe flaring
.If you are using pipe connections of the standard SAE J514 (JIC) or SAE J1453 (ORFS) you need to flatten the pipe ends to the required taper - 37 or 90°. For this purpose, we suggest the use of specialized pipe flaring equipment. You can choose from electric or manual machines. Regardless of the type of machine, you will be able to perform quality pipe flattening and install a hydraulic fitting or flange connection to the pipe.
Mounting the mortise ring
If you are using DIN 2353 connections, you will need to mount a split ring on the pipe. In this case, you can use a machine to pre-assemble the nut and snap ring on the pipe. The machine will allow you to produce a reliable connection made according to the standards. You can choose either a pneumatic or an electrically driven machine.
