Freeze Resistant Hoses

Dunlop Hiflex Superforest and EVOLUTION LT hoses are designed for use in sub-zero temperatures where conventional high-pressure hose cannot operate. The maximum temperature threshold of this type of hoses is -55 °C, which is 15 degrees higher than that of conventional high pressure hoses.

According to the requirements of the standard, these 3SK hoses can be used at temperatures from -55 to +100 ° C, transfer oil, fuel and water at a maximum pressure of 420 bar for a hose diameter of 5 mm. Dunlop Hiflex Superforest and EVOLUTION LT hoses can also be used for air transmission at temperatures not exceeding 70 °C.

Testing Dunlop Hiflex Superforest and EVOLUTION LT hoses

High pressure hoses have 2 to 6 tears of rubber and metal braid. Each of the layers is overlapped sequentially, thus achieving the strength properties of the hydraulic hose.

Any of the frost resistant hoses are tested for frost resistance. The test is carried out at the manufacturer's factory. The hose is placed in a freezing chamber for several hours, after which the hose is bent. If in the process of bending the hose, clicks and cracks are heard - this indicates that the metal wire is cracked and the hose cannot be used at high sub-zero temperatures.

Dunlop Hiflex Superforest and EVOLUTION LT hoses are the highest quality product, a product that can withstand over 1,000,000,000 million pulses, and generally have a long service life. These sleeves are as good as their competitors, Parker or Gates, in terms of technical and quality characteristics.

If you are looking for a high quality hose at a price lower than Parker high pressure hoses, we recommend you to look at Italian Dunlop Hiflex hoses.
