R5 – belongs to braided type of high pressure hoses. It is made of synthetic rubber resistant to oil and various petroleum products. It is intended for use in hydraulic systems with medium pressure. Although this hose is nominally a single braided hose, as an additional reinforcement it has a layer of textile braid which is overlaid on the first rubber layer.

These hoses can be used to transfer lubricants and oils, fuels, petroleum-based fluids, and aqueous glycols.

The R5 hose is manufactured in a range of diameters from 5 to 46 mm and is capable of handling pressures from 24 to 207 bar depending on the hose diameter. R5 hose is able to operate in the temperature range from -40 to +150 °C, the maximum temperature for air transfer is not more than +70 °С.
