In order to create a strong connection between the fitting and the high-pressure hose, coiled hoses require the removal of layers of rubber. This increases the bonding properties of the metal layer to the tail of the fitting and the teeth of the sleeve. When pressurizing R13 hoses with CS series fittings, the rubber layers do not need to be removed. This is achieved due to the special design of the fitting and coupling for crimping.
