NPTF (National Pipe Tapered Fine) – American standard of connection, corresponds to the Russian standard GOST 6111-52. In appearance, NPTF is very similar to the BSPT fitting, but is not interchangeable, as it has a different thread pitch - the number of threads per inch, the angle of the thread profile - 60° vs. 55 ° at BSPT.
