Fittings for DKO VFD
DKOL/DKOS fittings are manufactured according to the German DIN connection standard. This is the uniform European standard for metric threads (Deutsches Institut fur Normung). DKO fittings belong to this standard. This type of fitting has a metric thread diameter from M12x1.5 to M52x2, and are used to connect hoses with a nominal inner diameter of 5 to 38 mm.
Difference of DKO hose fittings
- Fitting DKOL – is, so-called, «light series».
- DKOS fitting is the “heavy series”
These series differ from each other by the diameter of the connecting pipe. The fittings are used to connect not only high-pressure hoses with each other, but also with tubes. Heavy series - DKOS has a smaller tube diameter and a thicker wall.
The DKO-L or DKO-S VFD fitting has an inner cone of 24°, cylindrical metric thread. The mating connection part can be of three types in terms of sealing at the connection:
- cone 24° with rubber ring
- insertion ring B3, B4 mounted on the tube
- Universal spherical cone or cone 24°/60°
