The BSP bushing is an English standard of British Standard Pipe fittings. BSP fitting is manufactured in accordance with ISO 228-1 standard (corresponds to Russian standard GOST 6357-81). BSP fitting has an inch thread and 60° taper. BSP is mainly used in hydraulic systems, on machinery manufactured in Europe. For additional sealing, an elastomeric ring is installed on the cone of the fitting.

BSP fittings are divided into two types:

Cylindrical thread - BSPP fittings
Conical thread - BSPT fittings

Cylindrical thread fittings are sealed by mating the mating parts.

In tapered thread fittings, sealing is achieved by threading.
