Protection for high-pressure hoses (HPH) is designed to increase their durability and safety in operating conditions.

The main protection functions for high-pressure hoses:

1. Protection from mechanical damage (friction against other surfaces, equipment or sharp edges, impacts, kinks, stretching, contact with hot parts, sparks or abrasive materials)

2. Protection from external factors (from overheating or hypothermia, from oils, acids, solvents, UV radiation - some covers protect from sunlight, which can destroy rubber).

In the event of a rupture of the high-pressure hose, protection can reduce the dispersion of the liquid stream (especially important for hydraulic systems) and reduce the risk of injury.
