Warranty Terms for Goods
These warranty terms apply only to seals (metal, rubber, plastic, and other products) supplied by the Seller.
Warranty Period
The warranty period for the Seller’s Goods is one year from the shipment date recorded in the delivery note TORG-12 (for EXW shipments, this is the date on the CMR), but not exceeding the manufacturer’s specified service life (resource). Warranty replacement of defective Goods is free of charge only at the Seller’s warehouse. Warranty covers structural defects. The decision to recognize a warranty case is made by the Seller in agreement with the manufacturer.
Warranty Limitations
Warranty does not apply to damage caused by use of the Goods beyond their intended scope, violation of transportation and storage conditions, installation requirements in combination with other products, and operational defects caused by intensive use (natural wear).
The Supplier is not responsible for all risks related to intentional or unintentional improper use; damage to personnel caused by product defects; operational losses; and any other additional losses and expenses, including losses caused to third parties.
Actions Upon Defect Detection
In case a defect is detected during acceptance or operation (within the warranty period), it is necessary:
a. Submit an official claim to our company indicating circumstances and describing the problem, date, and document number under which the Goods were purchased. For remote determination of warranty coverage, at the Supplier’s request, the Buyer shall additionally provide photo (video) materials demonstrating the defect.
b. If the claim can be resolved by telephone or written consultations, the Supplier will send a new product to replace the defective one free of charge under warranty, with transportation costs borne by the Buyer.
c. If the cause of the defect and warranty case cannot be established based on Buyer’s materials, the Goods shall be sent to the Supplier’s warehouse at Buyer’s expense. All Goods must be returned in original or protective packaging preventing damage during transportation. The Supplier will analyze the Goods and prepare an inspection report and technical conclusion. If recognized as a warranty case, the defective Goods will be replaced with new ones.
General Information
Technical specifications of the Goods are indicated in the catalog and on the official Seller’s website (www.hydravia.ru). Transportation and storage conditions: in original (special) packaging protecting against destruction and damage, in accordance with rubber product storage rules (ISO 2230). Storage conditions for products containing rubber and plastic are category 1 (light) or 2 (medium), and for metal products – category 5 according to GOST 15150.
