Warranty Terms for Goods

Warranty obligations of the “Seller” apply to the product groups THERMOPLASTIC HOSES AND TUBES and PTFE TEFLON HOSES (hereinafter “Goods”).

Warranty Period

Warranty obligations of the “Seller” begin from the moment of shipment of the products from the “Seller”’s warehouse, unless otherwise specified in the contract. The shipment date is the date of the consignment note (UPD) by which the goods are shipped. In case of shipment on EXW manufacturer’s plant terms, it is the date of the CMR.

The Seller guarantees the quality and completeness of the Goods in accordance with the necessary standard requirements, provided the Buyer complies with the conditions of transportation, storage, and operation.

The warranty period for the “Seller”’s products (Brand/warranty period):

  • VERSO – 12 months;
  • ZEC – 12 months.

Warranty Limitations

Warranty obligations of the “Seller” do not apply:

To products with improper conditions or methods of transportation from the “Seller”’s warehouse to the place of use.

  • To products with improper storage conditions at the “Buyer”’s warehouse.
  • To products with non-compliance of hose/product operating conditions prescribed by the manufacturer.
  • To products with obvious physical damages (cuts, compression impacts, chemical damage).

**Before shipment of products by the “Seller” to the “Buyer”, technical parameters of the products and operating conditions are agreed between the parties.

Upon shipment of products from the “Supplier”’s warehouse to the “Buyer”, it is assumed that the “Buyer” has the technical and accompanying information about the products, their rules of operation, and application area.

Actions Upon Defect Detection

Procedure for actions upon defect detection:
Buyer’s actions

  1. Prepare a claim (act, notification, letter) and submit it in writing. Act of defect detection (visible, hidden).
  2. Make photo and video documentation of the defect. Photos must allow identification of the defective product and the nature of the defect.
  3. Send the claim to the “Seller” indicating the document number and date under which the goods were purchased.
  4. Attach documents (claim, photo/video materials confirming the defect) to the “Seller”:
  • to the direct manager supervising the “Buyer”’s company;
  • or by email to (subject line: "Defect - Industrial Hoses")

Claim acceptance period by the “Seller” from the “Buyer”:

  • For hidden defects within the established warranty period for the product;
  • For visible defects within 3 (three) calendar days from the date of receipt of the product from the “Seller”.

Seller’s actions

  1. Register the incoming claim document from the “Buyer” (act, notification, letter) in the 1C “Document Management” system;
  2. Send the claim for consideration to the company’s Quality Management Department;
  3. Prepare a conclusion on the “Buyer”’s claim and send a response to the Buyer;
  4. If the Quality Management Department cannot determine the cause of the defect, the claim is forwarded to the manufacturer for consideration.

Seller’s action deadlines:

  • Registration of incoming document (act, notification, letter) – 1 business day;
  • Sending the claim for quality department review – 1 business day;
  • Conclusion on the “Buyer”’s claim – 5 business days;
  • If within 5 (five) business days after sending an additional request the Buyer does not provide the required information without valid reasons, the Seller reserves the right to make a negative decision on the claim.

Procedure, rules for exchanging products with visible and hidden defects, as well as compensation for damages caused by defective products, are agreed between the “Seller” and “Buyer” and carried out within the terms established by regulatory acts or agreements between the parties.

If it is impossible to determine the cause of the defect by the “Buyer”, “Seller”, or “Manufacturer”, the parties may involve independent professional experts (laboratories) for evaluation.

General Information

The Seller reserves the right to make technical changes and dimensional modifications to products without notifying Buyers.

In original (special) packaging protecting against destruction and damage.
