Warranty Terms for Goods

These warranty terms apply to reinforced high-pressure hoses (hereinafter – Hoses), including those supplied with protection (mechanical or high-temperature), provided by the Seller.

Warranty Period

The warranty for the products is valid for 12 months from the date of shipment to the Buyer, provided the products are operated according to the passport (hose standard) requirements. The shipment date is the date of the consignment note (TORG-12) by which the goods are shipped. In case of shipment on EXW manufacturer’s plant terms, it is the date of the CMR. Warranty replacement of defective products is carried out free of charge only at the Seller’s warehouse. All transportation costs related to replacement are borne by the Buyer. The warranty covers design defects (hoses, fittings, protection) and manufacturing defects of the products (reinforced hoses).

Warranty Limitations

When products are used under conditions not complying with TU 22.19.30-001-98537192-2024 or specified in the technical specifications for components, or damaged due to improper transportation, storage, installation, or use, warranty obligations cease. The Seller is not responsible for all risks related to intentional or unintentional improper use; damage to personnel caused by product defects; losses during operation; and any other additional losses and costs, including damages caused to third parties.

Actions Upon Defect Detection

In case of defect detection during acceptance or operation (within the warranty period), it is necessary to:

a. Send an official claim to our company, indicating the circumstances of occurrence and describing the problem, the date and number of the document under which the products were purchased. For remote determination of whether the case is warranty-related, the Buyer shall additionally provide photo (video) materials showing the defect upon the Supplier’s request.

b. If the claim can be resolved by telephone or written consultations, the Supplier sends new products to replace the defective ones free of charge under warranty, with transportation costs borne by the Buyer.

c. If it is impossible to determine the cause of the defect and the fact of a warranty case based on the Buyer’s materials, the products are sent to the Supplier’s warehouse at the Buyer’s expense and effort. All products must be returned in original packaging or packaging preventing damage during transportation. Subsequently, at the Supplier’s premises, the products are analyzed and a technical conclusion on the causes of reinforced hose failure is prepared. If the case is recognized as warranty-related, the defective products are replaced with new ones.

General Information

Reinforced high-pressure hoses consist of rubber or plastic hoses with metal braids (windings) or other types of braids, and end fittings: non-detachable or threaded fittings – fittings and couplings (for hoses). These products are intended for use as flexible pipelines in hydraulic systems of various machines and units (mining equipment, construction, road, agricultural machines, tractors, machine tools, etc.).

Technical specifications for components are indicated in the catalog and on the official website of the Seller (www.hydravia.ru), and the products’ storage and operation conditions are specified in TU 22.19.30-001-98537192-2024 (passport).
