Warranty Terms for Goods

These warranty terms apply to high-pressure hoses without end fittings (hereinafter referred to as HP hoses).

Warranty Period

The warranty on the product is valid for 12 months from the date of shipment to the Buyer, provided the product is operated in accordance with standards and the Seller’s (manufacturer’s) recommendations. The shipment date is the date on the invoice (TORG-12) by which the goods are shipped. In case of shipment under EXW terms from the manufacturer’s plant, this is the date on the CMR. Warranty replacement of defective products is carried out free of charge only at the Seller’s warehouse. All transportation costs related to the replacement are borne by the Buyer. The warranty covers structural and/or manufacturing defects of the HP hose (factory defects).

Warranty Limitations

The warranty applies only to HP hoses whose installation, operation, storage, and transportation were performed in accordance with standards (if applicable) and the Seller’s (manufacturer’s) recommendations.

The Seller is not responsible for all risks related to intentional or unintentional improper use; damage to personnel caused by product defects; operational losses, lost profits, as well as any other additional losses and expenses, including losses caused to third parties.

Warranty does not apply in case of:

  • incorrect installation, connection, adjustment, violation of operating rules specified in the Seller’s catalogs, instructions, standards, and other technical documents;

  • improper use;

  • failure to use safety (protective) devices during hose operation;

  • violation of transportation and storage conditions;

  • signs of significant wear;

  • signs of mechanical damage (cuts, dents, etc.);

  • absence of factory marking (layline).

  • leaks at end fittings, fitting leakage or hose rupture at the fitting connection point;

  • leaks (damage) of the HP hose related to resource exhaustion (number of operating hours on equipment);

  • incorrect selection of hydraulic system components causing unacceptable load on the HP hose during operation and, as a result, premature hose failure.

The Seller is not responsible for all risks related to intentional or unintentional improper use of equipment; damage to personnel caused by product defects; operational losses, as well as any other additional losses and expenses, including losses caused to third parties and lost profits.

The Seller is responsible for the quality of the supplied HP hose, but not for the assembled hose with end fittings and the result of HP hose operation on equipment if crimping and assembly of the hose assembly were performed by insufficiently qualified specialists. The Seller reserves the right to assess the qualification of the Buyer’s operators (hose assembly personnel).

Actions Upon Defect Detection

In case a defect is detected during acceptance or operation (within the warranty period), it is necessary:

  • Submit an official claim to our company indicating the circumstances of the defect and describing the problem, the date, and the document number under which the product was purchased. For remote determination of whether the case is warranty-covered, at the Supplier’s request, the Buyer shall additionally provide photo (video) materials demonstrating the defect.

  • You must provide a valid purchase certificate, including a purchase invoice from the Seller or its distributors, warranty on the product with the Seller’s company stamp, and the product operation manual with the Seller’s stamp.

  • If the claim can be resolved by telephone or written consultations, the Supplier will send new products to replace the defective ones under warranty free of charge, with transportation costs borne by the Buyer.

  • If the cause of the defect and warranty case cannot be established based on the Buyer’s materials, the product shall be sent to the Supplier’s warehouse at the Buyer’s expense. All products must be returned in the original packaging or packaging preventing damage during transportation. Further, the Supplier will analyze the product and prepare a technical conclusion on the causes of HP hose failure. If the case is recognized as warranty-covered, the defective product will be replaced with a new one.
