High-pressure hoses

These warranty terms and conditions refer to and are an integral part of the sales contracts concluded by Hydravia LLC INN 7806158571 and Hydral LLC INN 7802374966 with buyers. The warranty conditions are a public offer and cannot be changed. Revision 15.05.2017.

Product warranty terms

These warranty conditions apply to high pressure hoses (further - HPS) supplied by the Seller.

The warranty for hidden defects of the goods is valid for 12 months from the date of shipment of the goods to the Buyer, subject to operation in accordance with the requirements of the standard. The date of shipment is the date of the delivery note (TRORG-12) on which the goods are shipped. In case the goods are shipped on EXW terms to the manufacturer's factory, it is the date of CRM. Warranty replacement of low-quality goods shall be made free of charge only at the Seller's warehouse. All transportation costs associated with the replacement of the goods are at the expense of the Buyer. The warranty applies only to structural defects of the goods. The decision to recognize the case as warranty shall be made by the Seller in consultation with the manufacturer of the goods.

Warranty limitations

The warranty terms apply only to direct purchasers of the company. The warranty applies only to products that have been installed and put into operation in accordance with the Seller's instructions.

The length of supplied hoses shall be agreed between the Buyer and the Supplier; allowable limit deviation from the agreed coil length ±2%.

The warranty does not apply to leaks and damage caused by improper selection of goods, use in combination with other unsuitable goods, improper assembly (connection) with other goods, changes in the design of products, violation of operating rules specified in catalogs, instructions and other technical documents of the Seller, use in excess of the maximum pressure, self-repair not coordinated with the Seller. The Supplier shall not be liable for all risks associated with intentional or unintentional misuse; damage to personnel caused by defective goods; loss of use, as well as any other additional losses and costs, including losses caused to a third party.

The warranty does not apply to products whose storage conditions did not comply with the standards EN, DIN, ISO and technical recommendations of the Seller, as well as if the shelf life of the product has expired.

The vendor is responsible for the performance and safety of the components it supplies, but not the operation of the entire system.

Seller shall not warrant the hose in the event of improper cutting and/or pressing. Seller reserves the right to evaluate the actions and qualifications of Buyer's equipment operators.

When ordering products based on Buyer's design/drawings, Seller is responsible for the technical design, but not for the expected properties of the product.

Actions in the event of a defect

If a defect is detected during acceptance or operation (during the warranty period), it is necessary to:

a. Send an official claim to our company, indicating the circumstances of occurrence and describing the problem, the date and number of the document under which the product was purchased. When submitting a claim, it is obligatory to present photo and/or video materials demonstrating the defect. The deadline for accepting claims for visible defects is 3 calendar days from the date of receipt of the product. The deadline for accepting claims for hidden defects is determined by the warranty period, but no later than 7 days before the warranty expires.

If the Seller has not received any comments from the Buyer, the products are deemed to be accepted by the Buyer; further claims can only be made for latent defects within the warranty period.

If damage to the products occurred during transportation, the claim must be made to the carrier and not to Seller.

b. Send an official claim to our company, indicating the circumstances of occurrence and describing the problem, the date and number of the document under which the product was purchased. When submitting a claim, it is obligatory to present photo and/or video materials demonstrating the defect. c. If the cause of the defect and the fact of the warranty case cannot be established on the basis of the Buyer's materials, the goods shall be sent to the Supplier's warehouse at the Buyer's expense. All goods shall be returned in their original packaging or in packaging that prevents damage to the goods during transportation. Further, the goods shall be analyzed at the Supplier's premises and an inspection report and technical report shall be drawn up. If the case is recognized as a warranty case, the defective goods are replaced with a new one at the Seller's EXW warehouse.

General information

Rubber hoses are flexible pipelines (hydraulic hoses) used for supplying liquids (water), oils, emulsions and gases under high pressure. Rubber hoses consist of inner and outer rubber layers and one, two, three, four (or six) metal braids or coils. Thermoplastic hydraulic hoses have an inner textile braid.

Industrial hoses for gas supply, gas cutting and welding consist of an inner rubber layer, a cotton fiber yarn frame and an outer rubber layer.

Technical specifications of the goods are specified in the catalog and on the Seller's official website (www.hydravia.com), in the following standards: DIN EN 853, EN 854, DIN EN 855, DIN EN 856, DIN EN 857, SAE J517, ISO 6807, API SPEC 7K, GOST 6286, ГОСТ 9356, GOST 25452, GOST 25676, GOST 28618.

Open complaints cannot be the reason for delay in payment by the Buyer to the Seller.

The Seller has the right to make changes in the technical side, dimensions of the products without informing the Buyers.

At the request of the buyer, the supplier is able to carry out the necessary technical tests. All costs for materials, use of equipment, payment of employees will be billed to the buyer.

The purchaser is responsible for the disposal of the products, which must take place in accordance with the applicable statutory regulations.

Storage conditions: in accordance with the rules of storage of rubber products (ISO 2230) and the requirements of the standard corresponding to the hose (VHF), in a straightened form or in coils (bundles) in the original packaging (box) with observance of the minimum bending radius (in this case it is allowed to store VHF in the original packaging for not more than 3 months).
