Warranty Terms for Goods
These warranty terms apply to the new at the time of sale reusable connection fittings and couplings for hoses, supplied by the Seller.
Warranty Period
Warranty on hidden defects of the Goods is valid for 12 months from the shipment date to the Buyer, provided operation complies with standards (if applicable to this type of Goods) and Seller’s recommendations. The shipment date is the date on the invoice (TORG-12) by which the Goods are shipped. For EXW shipments, this is the date on the CMR. Warranty replacement of defective Goods is free of charge only at the Seller’s warehouse. All transportation costs related to replacement and diagnostics are borne by the Buyer. Warranty covers only structural defects. The decision to recognize a warranty case is made by the Seller in agreement with the manufacturer. Warranty covers structural defects of the Goods.
Warranty on hidden defects of the manufacturer’s Goods is valid:

12 months for all metal parts and components;

12 months for heat-treated and/or galvanized part coatings;

3 months for rubber parts (both natural and synthetic rubber) if following DIN 7716 standard recommendations, and 1 month if the standard’s prescriptions were not followed.
Warranty terms above apply for operation in 1 work shift (8 hours daily, 5 days a week, max 50 weeks a year). If the system or machine operates in two shifts, the warranty is halved (12, 6, and 3 months respectively). For three shifts, the warranty is reduced threefold (8, 4, 2 months respectively).
Warranty Limitations
Warranty terms apply only to direct customers of the company. Warranty applies only to products installed and commissioned according to Seller’s instructions.
Warranty does not cover leaks and damages caused by improper product selection, use with incompatible products, incorrect assembly, design modifications, violations of operating rules specified in catalogs, instructions, and other Seller’s technical documents, unauthorized repairs. The Supplier is not responsible for risks related to intentional or unintentional improper use; damage to personnel caused by product defects; operational losses; lost profits; and any other additional losses and expenses, including losses caused to third parties. The Seller is responsible for operability and safety of supplied components, but not for the entire system operation. When ordering products by Buyer’s design/drawings, the Seller is responsible for technical design but not for expected product properties.
For fittings manufactured in China, standard requirements, gauge checks, etc., are limitedly applicable as products are made according to manufacturer’s drawings (specifications).
Actions Upon Defect Detection
In case a defect is detected during acceptance or operation (within warranty period), it is necessary:
- Submit an official claim to our company indicating circumstances and describing the problem, date, and document number under which the product was purchased. For remote warranty case determination, at Supplier’s request, Buyer shall additionally provide photos and videos demonstrating the defect. Deadlines for claims on visible defects are 7 calendar days from product receipt. Deadlines for claims on hidden defects correspond to warranty period but no later than 7 days before warranty expiration.
If no claims are received from Buyer, the product is deemed accepted; further claims may be made only on hidden defects within warranty period.
If product damage occurred during transportation, claim must be made to carrier, not Seller.
- If claim can be resolved via phone or written consultations, Supplier sends new product to replace defective one free of charge under warranty; transportation costs borne by Buyer.
- If defect cause and warranty case cannot be established based on Buyer’s materials, product is sent to Supplier’s warehouse at Buyer’s expense. Product must be returned in original or protective packaging preventing damage during transport. Supplier analyzes product, prepares inspection report and technical conclusion. In exceptional cases, manufacturer’s expert examination may be required. If warranty case confirmed, defective product is replaced with new one on EXW Seller’s warehouse terms.
General Information
Technical specifications of the product are indicated in the catalog and on the official Seller’s website (www.hydravia.ru), in relevant standards and/or drawings.
Open claims cannot be a reason for Buyer to delay payment to Seller.
Manufacturer reserves the right to make changes to the product without worsening its characteristics and without notifying Buyers.
Storage and transportation conditions: in enclosed premises where temperature and humidity fluctuations are significantly less than outdoors, in original (special) packaging protecting against destruction, damage, corrosion. Fittings (pipe connections) with rubber seals should be stored according to rubber technical product storage rules (ISO 2230). Transportation in enclosed transport (containers, closed vehicles) preventing direct contact with environment, precipitation, contamination, etc.
