"These warranty terms apply to sales contracts and are an integral part thereof. The warranty terms constitute a public offer. Revision dated 01.01.2025. The terms apply to Goods shipped after 01.01.2025. Warranty terms for Goods shipped before 01.01.2025 can be found at the link."

Warranty Terms for Goods

These warranty conditions apply to new, at the time of sale, connection fittings—couplings and sleeves for high-pressure hoses (hereinafter referred to as HP hoses), for industrial hoses, and pipe connections supplied by the Seller.

Warranty Period

The warranty for hidden defects of the goods is valid for 12 months from the date of shipment to the Buyer, provided the goods are operated in accordance with standard requirements (if applicable for this type of product) and the Seller’s recommendations. The shipment date is the date on the invoice (TORG-12) by which the goods are shipped. In the case of shipment under EXW terms from the manufacturer’s plant, this is the date on the CMR. Warranty replacement of defective goods is carried out free of charge only at the Seller’s warehouse. All transportation costs associated with the replacement, diagnostics, etc., are borne by the Buyer. The warranty covers only structural defects of the goods. The decision to recognize a warranty case is made by the Seller in agreement with the manufacturer. The warranty applies to structural defects of the goods.

The warranty for hidden defects of Cast manufacturer’s goods is valid for:

  • 24 months for all metal parts and components;

  • 12 months for coatings of heat-treated and/or galvanized parts;

  • 6 months for rubber parts (both natural and synthetic rubber) if DIN 7716 standard recommendations are followed, and 1 month if the standard’s requirements are not met.

The above warranty terms apply when operating in 1 work shift (8 hours daily, 5 days a week, maximum 50 weeks per year). If the system or machine operates in two shifts, the warranty is halved (accordingly 12, 6, and 3 months). In the case of three shifts, the warranty is reduced threefold (8, 4, 2 months, respectively).

Warranty for hidden defects of other manufacturers’ goods:

  • 12 months

  • 3 months for rubber parts (both natural and synthetic rubber) if DIN 7716 standard recommendations are followed, and 1 month if the standard’s requirements are not met.

Warranty Limitations

The warranty terms apply only to direct buyers of the company. The warranty covers only products that have been installed and commissioned in accordance with the Seller’s instructions.

The warranty does not cover leaks and damages caused by improper product selection, use with incompatible products, incorrect assembly (connection) with other products, modifications to the product design, violation of operating rules specified in the Seller’s catalogs, manuals, and other technical documents, or unauthorized repairs not agreed with the Seller. The Seller is not responsible for all risks associated with intentional or unintentional improper use; damage to personnel caused by product defects; operational losses, lost profits, or any other additional losses and expenses, including losses caused to third parties. The Seller is responsible for the operability and safety of the components supplied but not for the operation of the entire system. When ordering products according to the Buyer’s project/drawings, the Seller is responsible for the technical design but not for the expected properties of the product.

For fittings manufactured in China, the requirements of standards, gauge checks, etc., are limitedly applicable, as the products are made according to the manufacturer’s drawings (specifications).

For Cast-manufactured flanges, the requirements of ISO 6162-1 standard (flatness) are limitedly applicable.

Since the packaging conditions for the goods do not provide for individual packaging of each unit, the warranty does not cover minor thread dents, scratches, and similar minor defects that may occur during transportation (when items rub against each other in group packaging). Such defects do not affect the functional properties of the product.

Actions Upon Defect Detection

If a defect is detected during acceptance or operation (within the warranty period), the following steps must be taken:

  • Submit an official claim to our company, stating the circumstances and describing the problem, the date, and the document number under which the goods were purchased. For remote determination of whether the case is warranty-covered, the Buyer must provide photos and videos of the product showing the defect, upon the Seller’s request. Claims for visible defects must be submitted within 7 calendar days from the date of receipt. Claims for hidden defects must be submitted within the warranty period but no later than 7 days before the end of the warranty obligations.

If the Seller does not receive comments from the Buyer, the products are considered accepted; further claims may only be made for hidden defects within the warranty period.

If product damage occurred during transportation, the claim must be made to the carrier, not the Seller.

  • If the claim can be resolved through phone or written consultations, the Seller will send a replacement product free of charge under warranty, with transportation costs borne by the Buyer.

  • If the cause of the defect and the fact of a warranty case cannot be determined based on the Buyer’s materials, the product is sent to the Seller’s warehouse at the Buyer’s expense. All goods must be returned in original packaging or packaging that prevents damage during transportation. The Seller will then analyze the product and prepare an inspection report and technical conclusion. If the case is recognized as warranty-covered, the defective product will be replaced with a new one under EXW Seller’s warehouse terms.

General Information

HP hose fittings are the connecting part of HP hoses, pipe connections are part of pipelines and serve to hermetically connect system parts. HP hose couplings are used to connect (crimp, compress) HP hoses with fittings.

The technical characteristics of the goods are indicated in the catalog and on the official Seller’s website (www.hydravia.ru), in the relevant standards, or working drawings.

Open claims cannot be grounds for delaying payment by the Buyer to the Seller.

The manufacturer reserves the right to make changes to the products that do not degrade their characteristics without informing Buyers.

Storage and transportation conditions: in enclosed spaces where temperature and humidity fluctuations are significantly less than outdoors, in original (special) packaging that protects against destruction, damage, and corrosion. Fittings (pipe connections) with rubber seals should be stored according to the rules for storing rubber products (ISO 2230). Transportation should be by enclosed means (containers, closed vehicles, etc.) that prevent direct contact with the external environment, precipitation, contamination, etc..
