Product warranty terms

These warranty conditions apply to connecting fittings - fittings and couplings for high-pressure hoses (hereinafter referred to as "Hose Fittings") and pipe connections supplied by the Seller.

Warranty period

The warranty for hidden defects of the product is valid:

• 24 months for all metal parts and components;
• 12 months for heat-treated and galvanized elements;
• 6 months for rubber parts (both natural and synthetic rubber) if the recommendations of DIN 7716 have been followed and 1 month if the standard has not been followed.

The warranty conditions stated above apply for 1 shift (8 hours daily, 5 days per week, maximum 50 weeks per year). If the system or machine is operated in two shifts, the warranty is halved (12, 6 and 3 months respectively). In case of 3 shifts, the warranty will be reduced by a factor of 3 (8, 4, 2 months respectively).

The warranty conditions are valid from the date of shipment of the goods to the Buyer. The date of shipment is the date of the consignment note (TRORG-12) on which the goods are shipped. In case of shipment of goods on EXW terms to the manufacturer's factory, it is the date of SMR. Warranty replacement of low-quality goods shall be made free of charge only at the Seller's warehouse. All transportation costs associated with the replacement of the goods are at the Buyer's expense. The warranty relates to design defects of the goods and applies to the quality of fitting (pipe) threaded (flanged) connection, coupling connection with VFD, their common connecting dimensions.

Warranty limitations

The warranty terms apply only to direct purchasers of the company. The warranty applies only to products that have been installed and put into operation in accordance with the Seller's instructions.

The warranty does not apply to leaks and damage caused by improper selection of goods, use in combination with other unsuitable goods, improper assembly (connection) with other goods, changes in the design of products, violation of operating rules specified in catalogs, instructions and other technical documents of the Vendor, self-repair not coordinated with the Vendor. The Vendor shall not be liable for all risks associated with intentional or unintentional improper use; damage to personnel caused by defective goods; loss of use, as well as any other additional losses and costs, including losses caused to a third party. The vendor is responsible for the performance and safety of the components it supplies, but not the performance of the entire system. When ordering products according to the Buyer's design/drawings, the Seller is responsible for the technical design, but not for the expected properties of the product.

Actions when a defect is detected

If a defect is detected during acceptance or operation (during the warranty period), it is necessary:

а. Send an official claim to our company, indicating the circumstances of occurrence and describing the problem, date and number of the document under which the goods were purchased. To determine remotely whether the case is a warranty case, at the request of the supplier, the buyer sends in addition photos, videos of the goods with a demonstration of the type of defect. The terms of acceptance of claims for visible defects are 7 calendar days from the date of receipt of the product. The terms of acceptance of claims for hidden defects are determined by the warranty period, but not later than 7 days before the date of expiration of warranty obligations.

If the Seller has not received any comments from the Buyer, the products shall be deemed to have been accepted by the Buyer; further claims may only be made for latent defects within the time limits stipulated in the warranty.

If damage to products occurs during transportation, the claim should be made to the carrier, but not to the Seller.

б. If the claim can be resolved by telephone or written consultation, the Supplier shall send new goods to replace the defective goods under warranty free of charge, transportation costs being at the expense of the Buyer.

в. If the cause of the defect and the fact of the warranty case cannot be determined on the basis of the Buyer's materials, the goods shall be sent to the Supplier's warehouse at the Buyer's expense. All goods shall be returned in their original packaging or in packaging that prevents damage to the goods during transportation. Further, the goods shall be analyzed at the Supplier's premises and an inspection report and technical report shall be drawn up. If the case is recognized as a warranty case, the defective goods are replaced with a new one, on EXW warehouse conditions of the Seller.

General information

Fittings for VFD are connecting parts of VFD, pipe joints - pipelines and serve for their hermetic connection of system parts. VFD couplings are used for connection (pressing, crimping) of VFD with the fitting.

Technical specifications of the product are specified in the catalog and on the Seller's official website (www.hydravia.ru), in relevant standards: ISO 8434-1 (DIN 2353), ISO 8434-2 (SAE J514); ISO 8434-3 (SAE J1453); ISO 8434-4 (DIN 3856,DIN 3943,DIN 3944, DIN 3945); ISO 8434-6, BSI 5200; ISO 12151-1; ISO 12151-2; ISO 12151-3; ISO 12151-4; ISO 12151-5; ISO 12151-6; SAEJ516; SAEJ518, or shop drawings.

Open complaints cannot be the reason for delay in payment by the Buyer to the Seller..

The Seller has the right to make changes in the technical side, dimensions of the products without informing the Buyers.

Upon request of the purchaser, the supplier is able to carry out the necessary technical tests. All costs for materials, use of equipment, payment of employees will be billed to the buyer.

Storage Conditions: in original (special) packaging protecting from destruction and damage. Fittings (pipe joints) with rubber seals should be stored in accordance with the rules for storage of rubber products (ISO 2230), with special humidity conditions (to avoid cracking).
